Sam Landa

I have been teaching all my life. From teaching Sunday School for kids, adolescents, and college students to teaching professionally at the graduate and undergraduate level, God has made it abundantly clear that  He has given me gifts oriented towards teaching and education.

My second passion is counseling. I love being able to extend and practice compassion in my counseling journey with my clients. Interestingly, compassion means “to suffer with”, which is exactly what I aim to do in counseling.

I enjoy cultivating change through warmth, insight, humor, and encouragement. I strive for helping students view their relationships, suffering, obstacles, and limitations through the lens of Scripture, and walk alongside them as they seek to draw biblical understanding of themselves through those experiences.

I am an LPC and am currently working on a doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision.
